1 Year!!!

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing great! This week was pretty chill.

Most of the week was just pretty typical missionary work. We had a few lessons, members meals, visits, and finding.

A major miracle was that we got back in contact with our friend who was supposed to get baptized last week. Let's just say Satan was working hard on him but we had a lesson and he's back on track.

Another awesome miracle is that our friend who was atheist went from not believing in Christ to being 50% believing now! It's so cool to see his faith grow!

The day before Valentines Day a member did a nice dinner for us and got us little treats which was so sweet!

On actual Valentines Day we made heart pizzas with a family in the branch and then helped them pack for a few hours. Good times!

On Sunday one of our new friends came to church for the first time and he said he's gonna come back and we're meeting with him this week!

Yesterday we had transfer calls. One of my comps has finished her mission so she is going home and Sister Erickson and I are both staying. It's going to be a fun transfer.

Yesterday evening we got a referral from a member of a woman who recently lost her husband. Her husband's friend was a member and she is interested in learning more. A major miracle from God! We're excited to help her.

Today we dropped my comp who's going home off and then we got Boba to celebrate my 1 year! You heard me right, I have been a missionary for 1 year!

I won't lie this year has probably been one of the hardest years of my life but it has also been the most sacred. I have learned and grown so much in so many ways. I have become a better and more patient person and have become a better disciple of Christ.

In this year I have grown to know who my Savior is to me and have grown to truly LOVE the Book of Mormon. Reading it is often the highlight of my day.

Here's a verse I've grown to love,
Alma 7:12
"12 And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities."
This verse brings me comfort knowing that Christ suffered for me to know how to comfort me in times of need and did for you, too.

Love you all!
