☀️🥵⛈️🥶

Hello everyone! Another week down!

This week started off SO hot! 🥵

We had a really good lesson with Joey having him teach us half the plan of Salvation. Something cool that happened during it was the worker brought us Hershey pies that a mystery person bought for us (the lesson was at Burger King) So that was really nice of that person!

We had a great lesson with our friend Tremaine on Wednesday! It was outside in 90 degree weather + humidity so we were toasty (especially while knocking before). But the lesson was SO good! The spirit was so strong as we taught him about the First Vision!

Then the rest of the week was rainy and cold! 🥶

Got followed by cats while knocking...I don't like cats lol

Our new member John J got to go do baptisms for the second time since he's been baptized and he said he felt like he was doing something important which made me so happy. The next day we had a great lesson with him!

One of our members invited us to the China Buffett with him and his kids since it was a holiday weekend (he already fed us once this week, he takes such good care of us). Plus it was good food!

No friends were at church Sunday but we had 2 new members there! The talks and lessons were so spirit filled! They were a great reminder of choosing to believe in Christ everyday and that there is joy in the good and hard times.

For pday today we are playing sports with our district so it should be fun.

Spiritual thought: this week when teaching Tremane the First Vision really hit me.

“I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me. … When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!”

It is so incredible to think that Joseph Smith really saw God, the Father and Jesus Christ that day. Through his faith, their blessings, and God's power, the church was restored! I am so grateful it was!

(The stake I'm serving in has been in Kirtland so I'm a little jelly)
